Plantronics APA-23 is the electronic hookswitch EHS cable for use with Alcatel phone models above in conjunction with Plantronics wireless headsets CS500-Series such as CS540, CS545-XD, CS530, CS510, CS520, W700-Series such as W710, W720, W730, W740 and Voyager Legend CS.

This EHS (Electronic Hookswitch) allows the user to answer and end one call at a time from the wireless headset from anywhere within the 300 ft. range. This adapter eliminates the need for the automatic handset lifter (HL10).

The Plantronics APA23 contains an integrated ring sensor and generates an audible beep sound in the wireless headset. Simply press the talk button on your earpiece to answer/end your call.

This EHS will only work with specific Alcatel-Lucent phone models such as 4028, 4029, 4038, 4039, 4068, 8012, 8028, 8029, 8038, 8039 as they are provisioned with electronic hookswitch functionality.
